BENEFITS
Aware of the many great benefits of
massage therapy, Sanyo scientists and engineers turned to traditional
Chinese medicine almost 40 years ago to study this ancient healing art
and understand its scientific basis. The result is the latest
revolutionary Sanyo Massage Chair, which duplicates the motions of a
true Shiatsu massage, providing relief that is soothing, penetrating and
invigorating. The Sanyo Massage Chair perfects the art of Shiatsu in a
chair ... kneading, rolling and tapping. Sanyo is accredited with
several massage chair technology firsts, and still to this day is
regarded as the most advanced massage chair in the world!
SANYO's
Massage Loungers feature four massage rollers working in a seesaw
action, with four independent motors to drive the various massage
actions. This design is a substantial advancement over competitive
models. And the SANYO massage chair roller heads seesaw to an angle of
50 degrees to follow the curves of the shoulders and back. With this
flexibility, the massage heads are able to follow the contours of the
body and offer a more effective massage with a professional feel. In
fact, four motors and four massage rollers really do add up to a better
massage.
SANYO's concern for your relaxation
extends to the remote control. The simple remote control with easy to
understand icons and light-up buttons is the envy of the industry. The
buttons take you through the operating and a red light shows when the
lounger is after 15 minutes use, so there is no need to worry if you
doze off while enjoying your massage.

Automatic courses combine variety of
massage modes. Automatic programs included neck/shoulder, upper back and
lower back. There are 18 different courses to soothe away a variety of
aches and pains. Auto reclining seat--the seat back reclines gently from
120 to 170 degree. Easy-roll casters and child lock safety switch are
also standard features.

Stiffness
measurement takes about 3 minutes. |
A
selection of two modes
is available according to physical condition and feeling. |
Stiff
points detected by changes in sweat, pulse and skin temperature
due to stimulation by foot roller and massage heads. |
Beep
sound signals end of measurement and stiffness monitor shows
measurement results on lamps. |
In
the Recovery mode, stiff body parts are given long, intesive
massage. In the Relax mode, stiff parts are given gentle massage. |
Shiatsu
Massage uses three intricate movements: pressure is applied gently to a
pressure point, it is held, and then is suddenly released. This massage
technique is both relaxing and invigorating simultaneously. Sanyo used
modern electronic technology to analyze the finger movement of a
professional massage therapist in order to develop a way to duplicate
it.
The Rolling massage helps to stretch the
spine and relieve pressure on the discs. As four massage wheels roll up
and down the spine stretching, they also help to stimulate spinal nerve
roots and reduce muscular back pain.
The Tapping massage helps to improve
blood circulation, reducing muscle stiffness and enhancing movement of
oxygen and nutrients throughout the body. Advanced Sanyo massaging
technologies enable you to select the strength (up to 600 taps per
minute) as well as the area to be massaged.

MASSAGE CHAIR BENEFITS
- Stimulating "pressure
points" with massage or heat triggers the release of
endorphins, which are neuro chemicals that relieve pain. As a
result, pain is blocked and the flow of blood and oxygen to the
affected area is increased. This causes the muscles to relax and
promotes healing.
- Massage focuses on relieving pain and
discomfort as well as on responding to tension before it develops
into "dis-ease", that is, before the constrictions and
imbalance can do further damage.
- Massage enables the body to relax
deeply. By relieving stress, it strengthens resistance to disease
and promotes wellness.
- Massage stimulates the lymphatic
system and helps hasten the elimination of toxins (e.g., lactic
acid) from the body.
- Massage increases the flexibility and
range of motion, reduces inflammation, and increases joint mobility
and is used to relieve and even help prevent sports injuries.
- Massage improves muscle tone and
circulation and relieves neuromuscular problems.
- Massage can help restore emotional
balance by releasing the accumulated tension caused by repressed
feelings.
- As massage works a pressure point, the
muscle tension yields to the pressure, enabling the fibers to
elongate and relax, blood to flow freely, and toxins to be released
and eliminated. Increased circulation also brings more oxygen and
other nutrients to affected areas. This increases the body's
resistance to illness and promotes a longer, healthier, more vital
life.
Shiatsu Massage and It's Benefits
Shiatsu is a Japanese word:
"shi" meaning finger, and "atsu" meaning pressure.
But shiatsu is more than acupressure. It is a combination of many
different techniques, including pressing, hooking, sweeping, shaking,
rotating, grasping, vibrating, patting, plucking, lifting, pinching,
rolling, brushing, and, in one school developed by Suzuki Yamamoto,
barefoot shiatsu, which includes walking on the person's back, legs, and
feet.
In the practice of shiatsu, each person
is primarily responsible for his or her own health and well-being. This
contrasts with the Western belief that the medical practitioner is
principally responsible for our health. In Western medicine an awareness
of the unique significance of touch, the essential form of communication
between two human beings in the fight to subdue pain, has all but
disappeared; certainly it has become minimal. Ironically, in all times
and all cultures, the importance of touch, just touch itself, has been
acknowledged as a primary means to mitigate pain. In the hurried rounds
of the Western clinical physician checking hospital charts at the end of
the day, alas, it has vanished.
Shiatsu strengthens the immune system
and, if practiced consistently, truly becomes preventive health care.
Who can benefit from shiatsu? Early on, George Balanchine, Ivan Nagy,
Martha Graham, and many other dancers took regular shiatsu sessions to
relieve their pains and restore and maintain their vitality. It is well
known that Liza Minnelli and Henry Kissinger have received shiatsu
treatments to promote and maintain good health.
Now you can take advantage of this
marvelous treatment whenever you like in the privacy of your own home.
Our various lines of shiatsu massage chairs electronically replicate the
touch and pressure of a shiatsu master. Computer assisted research has
made the ultimate in massages available to everyone.
The reason Sanyo offers the best massage functions is that Sanyo massage
chairs have 4 large motors inside the chair.

MASSAGE CHAIR CONCEPT
|
The nervous system controls and
coordinates all organs and structures of the human body. Irritation on
any nerve will affect one or more of the body's functions. The most
critical part of the nervous system is the spine. Any type of stress,
mental or physical, caused by injury, strains, sprains, muscle spasms,
or disease will affect one or more of the body's functions, whether
voluntarily or involuntarily.
Once the nerves in our bodies leave the
spinal column, they travel through canals in the tissue. If there is any
pressure on these canals, whether created by inflammation, swelling or
misalignment of vertebra, the nerves will send out a signal in the form
of pain to alert the body of a malfunction. The Sanyo Massage chair is
designed to reduce these pressures by combining nature's simplest forms
of therapy into one very effective system. If you suffer from virtually
any form of pain or stress, stretching out on your revolutionary Sanyo
Massage Chair can be one of the best things you'll ever do for yourself.
Sanyo Massage chairs are the most technologically advanced massage
chairs for people that want the best!
Your Wonderful Lymphatic System
The predominant fluid in your body is
lymphatic fluid. This fluid carries nutrients from the food you eat and
oxygen from the air you breathe. It also carries toxic poisons,
bacteria, cholesterol and viruses away from the cells in your body.
Since there is no pump (like the heart for blood) to push this fluid
through the body, it is only moved by deep breathing, stretching,
vigorous exercise, gravitational force and massage. Manual lymph
drainage improves the flow of lymphatic fluid by using light, rhythmic
strokes. Circulation massage therapy has been found to be the most
efficient method of stimulating lymphatic circulation. The pulsating
action of circulation massage therapy causes the millions of one-way
valves that regulate the flow of fluid to open and close thus allowing a
healthy surge of lymphatic fluid throughout the entire body. Manual
lymph drainage is primarily used for conditions related to poor lymph
flow, such as edema, inflammation, and neuropathies. Lymphatic Drainage
Massage can be one of the most healthy massage benefits. Repeated
circulation therapy thus creates a continuous flow of lymphatic fluid
nourishing and cleansing your cells that literally flush your system of
harmful wastes and poisons while increasing your resistance to sickness
and disease. If you have any stress, either mental or physical, you are
going to have areas of restricted lymphatic flow. Lymphatic fluid
is vital to the life process, bathing all the cells, it acts as a medium
of exchange; trading food for the cells for the waste products. This
waste contains microorganisms, damaged cells, and protein molecules that
are too large or too toxic to go directly into the blood stream through
the capillary walls. When the lymphatic system slows down, these
waste products accumulate and stagnate which causes the heavy feeling in
your limbs and the overall fatigue experienced in a sedentary life
style. Receiving Lymphatic Drainage Massage can provide relaxation,
increase the removal of toxins to promote health and can be of great
benefit for post-operative recovery, to persons suffering from edema and
anyone with recurrent sinusitis, allergies or seasonal stuffiness.
In today's fast-paced world, we face high
levels of stress every day. Many of us drive long distances, sit hunched
over our desks and computers and just can't find enough time to
exercise. As a result, we suffer increasing tension and pain from our
necks to our lower backs. For centuries, relief has been found through
massage methods such as Shiatsu, a healing art originating in Japan from
traditional Chinese Medicine techniques. Shiatsu is a Japanese
word--"shi" means finger and "atsu" means pressure.
